The LEMPI Childbirth Preparation classes is meant for a pregnant woman and his birth partner. More than a one partner can attend the classes for a surcharge.
The price (1h 65€ + 10€ / partner/h or 4.5h 295€) includes: VAT 24%. Written material to support the content of the classes. 100% satisfaction guarantee (more information below).
A 60€ deposit fee is paid at the time of making the appointment. The deposit fee is included to the price above. By paying the deposit fee you agree to these Terms of agreement.
The deposit and participation fees are invoiced by email. The written material of the course is included in the price. It is prohibited to photocopy the course material or to distribute it to any third parties.
Cancellation Terms
Online classes: The right of cancellation does not extend to online classes; however, the appointment can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the class.
Classes in Oulu: The appointment is binding. The legislation to be applied for the determination of the right of cancellation or withdrawal is Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act, which states that the right of withdrawal is applicable in cases of . In such cases, the participation fee shall be returned, but the deposit fee shall be retained. If attending the classes is prevented due to the medical condition of the mother, the participation fee shall be returned upon presentation of a medical certificate, but the deposit fee shall be retained. If the support person / partner is prevented from attending the class, the expectant mother has the choice of
- attending the classes alone, in which case the price remains the same
- choosing another support person to come with her (excluding another expectant mother)
The service provider must be immediately informed by phone (0440112875) of any obstacles to attending the classes. A refund due to the aforementioned conditions can be considered only if the cancellation is made by 4:00 p.m. the day before the appointment.
Discharge of the Service Provider
Childbirth preparation classes do not substitute the guidance given in the maternity clinic, hospital or private health care. The Childbirth Preparation Coach is responsible for the information she gives. The coach is not responsible for the family’s medical decisions or their consequences.
If the service is cancelled for a reason attributable to the service provider, the service will be rescheduled.
Customer Rights and satisfaction guarantee
If the customer is dissatisfied with the classes after attending all of them, entitled to a refund. In such cases, the service provider must be contacted and orally informed of the cause of dissatisfaction within 2 weeks of the completion of the service.
If the customer has complaints about the service, they should first contact the service provider and give her the opportunity to redress the cause of dissatisfaction. If the conflict concerning the service cannot be solved through negotiations between the parties, the customer may submit the case to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariitalautakunta, www.kuluttajariita.fi/en). Before submitting the case to the Consumer Disputes Board, the customer must contact the Consumer Advisory Service (https://www.kkv.fi/en/consumer-advice).
